Nicholas Davis Studio is a furniture design practice in the heart of the North West with a focus on creating original, practical and beautiful furniture that values permanence, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Each project draws from a range of historical and contemporary references relevant to the function of the piece to create characterful and valuable furniture that enhances its environment and the lives of those who use it.
Nicholas Davis, the Studio’s founder, brings a wealth of design expertise to his practice. After studying visual communication at the Glasgow School of Art, Nicholas built a ten year career working in art direction and graphic design, partnering with clients including Prada, Kvadrat and Vitra.
Drawn to the function and physicality of wood and thriving in a design-first environment, Nicholas studied at Chippendale International School of Furniture, where he won Student of the Year.
Upon graduation Nicholas founded Nicholas Davis Studio in Wilmslow, where he can be found most days with his dog Maple.
